Welcome to Quack War: Global Clash ("the App"), developed by Michael. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our app and how we keep our young users safe.

1. Information We Collect

We DO NOT collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from users. Specifically, we do NOT collect:

• Names
• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Physical addresses
• Photos or videos
• Voice recordings
• Date of birth
• Account credentials
• Social media profiles

The app stores the following anonymous data:

• Country selection: The country flag you choose to represent (no GPS tracking)
• Game progress: Click count, level, XP, achievements (stored only on your device)
• Approximate location (country only): Used once to suggest your country during initial setup, then discarded

2. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

This app complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• We do NOT knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• We do NOT require account creation
• We do NOT have chat or social features
• We do NOT share user data with third parties
• All advertising is filtered to family-safe content only

3. Advertising

To support free gameplay, we display family-safe rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. These ads:

• Are only shown when the user chooses to watch them (e.g., to earn a Martiano Boost)
• Are filtered to "G" content rating (general/family audiences only)
• Are configured for child-directed treatment as required by Google Play Families Policy
• Do NOT include behavioral targeting or remarketing for children
• Do NOT include ads about gambling, dating, alcohol, or other adult content
• Limited to a maximum of 15 ads per day to prevent overuse

We use Google's Family Self-Certified Ads SDK to ensure all ads meet Google Play's strict family-safe standards.

4. Data Storage

All game data is stored locally on the user's device using Android's secure SharedPreferences. The only data sent over the internet is:

• Anonymous click counts (sent to our Firebase database to update country leaderboards)
• No user-identifying information is ever transmitted

Server time synchronization is performed via worldtimeapi.org to prevent clock manipulation in the game. No personal data is sent to this service.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services, all configured for family-safe use:

• Google AdMob: Family-safe ad serving. Privacy Policy
• Firebase Realtime Database: Anonymous leaderboard storage. Privacy Policy
• WorldTimeAPI: Time synchronization (no user data). Website
• ipapi.co: One-time country detection during setup (anonymous, no storage). Privacy Policy

6. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• INTERNET: Required for the global leaderboard and ads
• VIBRATE: Optional haptic feedback (can be disabled in settings)
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Detect if the device is online

The app does NOT request:

• Camera
• Microphone
• Contacts
• Storage
• Location (precise GPS)
• Phone

7. Parents' Rights

Parents and legal guardians have the right to:

• Review what data the app stores (only anonymous game progress on the device)
• Delete the app to remove all stored data
• Disable advertising by uninstalling the app
• Contact us with any concerns at the email below

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures:

• All network communication uses HTTPS encryption
• No sensitive data is stored or transmitted
• Local data is stored in Android's secure storage

9. International Users

Quack War is available globally. By using the app, you agree to the transfer of anonymous game data to our Firebase database (located in the United States) for the purpose of leaderboard rankings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
